Gene joined "Barker Blueprint in 1979 and worked in every phase of the business over the next ten years, holding VP positions in operations and sales before becoming President in 1989 and CEO in 1991.
Gene oversaw the transformation of the company in the early 1990s, being among the first in the business to eliminate blueprint machines in favor of electronic plans. The company pioneered the concept of Construction Information Management and online plan rooms. He launched the firm's digital color printing business in the late '90s, which saw a big boost with the installation of the HP Indigo printer in 2004.
Gene has a BA in English Literature from Stanford University. He was one of the founding members of ReproMAX in 2000 and served as the organization's chairman in 2005. He serves on the board of directors of the San Mateo Police Athletic League and the advisory board of United American Bank. He makes his home in Hillsborough and has two children.
General Manager
John joined BarkerBlue in 1998 and has more than 16 years of digital imaging experience. As general manger, he oversees the day to day activity of the business as a whole. He is always on the lookout for new technology to better serve BarkerBlue customers and grow the business. John represents the company's interests with regard to technology offerings, email forums and industry partnerships. He studied at the Stephen F. Austin University in Texas. He and his wife Debby have two young daughters and live in Belmont.
Sales Consultant
Mike has spent his entire career in commercial graphics - from prepress for CPG through global tradeshow and retail graphics programs. A self-described 'color fanatic' - he provides collaborative counsel through the entire imaging process from strategic design through print quality management. He joined BarkerBlue in 2010 and leads the client engagement effort for digital printing. He earned a BFA in Communication Design from Kutztown University in eastern Pennsylvania and did postgraduate work at the Rhode Island School of Design. When not working with BarkerBlue clients, Mike helps out with soccer, gymnastics and t-ball at his kids' school. He lives in San Francisco.

Digital Asset Manager
Konstantin has over 15 years in the construction world with the last 5 heading up BarkerBlue's staff of dedicated Project Managers. He is certified by McGraw-Hill Construction in its PDM Enterprise product line. Konstantin has extensive experience with the workflow demanded by the OSHPD layer of approval on hospital projects. He has worked with our Hospital construction team clients to transition from the OSHPD Incremental Submittal system to a manageable Current Field Set.

Color Graphics Manager
With 10 years in the graphic-arts industry and 6 of those years with BarkerBlue, Ridwan has recently been promoted to Color Graphics Manager. He leads the day to day duties of overall department planning - from workflow management, prepress through print, finishing and fulfillment. He is the go to guy for creating out-of-the-box solutions for all client needs. His expertise lie with the Adobe Creative Suite, Quark and Graphtec routers. He is a licensed Indigo Press operator. He earned a bachelor degree in Management and studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Creative and quick thinking, he enjoys geocaching, hiking, biking and cooking.

Project Manager
Pat has been with BarkerBlue for 9 years. She has over 20 years of Color Graphics and Project Management experience. Building strong relationships with clients and vendors are an important part of the business and Pat really enjoys it. She has earned numerous accreditations in the Graphic Arts field and is in the Photoshop World Alumni.

Customer Service Manager
Howard manages our team of 6 Customer Service associates in our AEC division. Howard coordinates continual training of his team in our DFS planroom technology and holds weekly meetings with staff to review metrics such as On-Time Delivery and Error-Free percentages. He also meets with other Department heads semi-weekly to review Priority Accounts and Projects. Howard has a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from San Francisco State.

AEC Production Manager
Satendra has been with BarkerBlue for 25 years and has worked in our Electrostatic, CAD plotting, and Digiprint deparments. For the past 10 years he has been our Production Manager for Plans and is expert at managing large, complex print distributions. He has a keen eye for detail and is extremely knowledgeable about all phases of the construction design process.

Logistics Manager
Mike has been in the Facilities Management and Logistics industries for over 35 years, 12 of them with BarkerBlue. He currently manages our fleet of delivery vehicles as well as all 3rd party shipments from vendors such as Fedex, Golden State Overnight, OnTrack, and UPS. Thanks in large part to Mike's management skill, BarkerBlue has a 98.3% on-time delivery rate for 2011. For Priority Accounts, it is 99.7%. Mike has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University.
